Join us in Toronto for an evening honouring one of Ukraine's top-ranked tennis players, Oleksandra Oliynykova, in conversation about the role of athletes in times of war, and a wider reflection on identity, humanity, and the responsibility of sport in the face of injustice.

Oleksandra Oliynykova is one of Ukraine's most outspoken voices in international tennis. While competing on the world's biggest stages, she has challenged the idea that sport can remain neutral in the face of war, arguing that athletes who publicly support Russia's aggression should not compete without consequences. Living and training in Kyiv while her country remains under attack, she brings a perspective shaped not by theory, but by the daily reality of war—making her one of the strongest advocates for accountability, integrity, and moral leadership in sport.

Together we'll celebrate Ukrainian players who continue to compete, and win, on the world's biggest stages while carrying the weight of a nation at war — serving as ambassadors for their country and using their platform to keep the world's attention on Ukraine. It's a night about resilience, pride, and hope, for the diaspora and for those on the front lines.
Admission is by voluntary donation, gratefully accepted at the door. This special fundraising event will support the Ground Robotic Systems Unit of the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Raid" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
